Modern Energy Management appointed Owner’s Engineer for 60MW Wayu wind farm in Thailand

Modern Energy Management Co., Ltd. (MEM) has been appointed Owner’s Engineer Wind Energy Development’s 60MW Wayu wind farm project in Thailand.
Representing the project owner, Wind Energy Development Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Gunkul Engineering PLC.), Modern Energy Management’s scope of work will include on-site construction project management and engineering support services.
Track record of successful project delivery
“This will be our first wind project investment,” said Mr. Janpon Ngamaroonchote, Gunkul Engineering PLC.’s Vice President of Strategic Planning and Investment Department. “We chose MEM as Owner’s Engineer due to their experience and track record, particularly here in Thailand. Continuing their role as Owner’s Representative during the development phase of the project, we think MEM is a great fit for managing construction of our project.”
The Wayu wind farm project is located in Nakhon Ratchasima province and is expected to be complete within 2016.
