March 6, 2020 – Modern Energy Management (MEM), a specialist in developing, building and operating investment grade renewable energy projects in emerging markets, announced that it is starting a new 60MWp solar project for AC Energy in Philippines.
MEM’s scope of work includes the project’s lead for engineering, design review, and construction quality management services.
AC Energy is a Philippines energy firm with a growing renewable energy footprint in Southeast Asia. The company set a goal to develop a capacity of 5GW of renewable energy by 2025, of which 2GW are slated to be developed in Philippines.
“We selected Modern Energy for this project due to our strong relationship with them on a previous solar project in Philippines,” said Anabele Natividad, Vice President of Development for AC Energy. “Modern Energy listens to our project goals and understands the importance that each project be technically and financially feasible. These are long term projects that will be in our portfolios for years to come.”
“Modern Energy is more than a technical advisory firm,” stated Aaron Daniels, Managing Director of Modern Energy Management. “We view each client as a partner, carefully listening to them during the review of each project, insuring our services completely meet their needs.”
“In this way we believe we add significant value for our clients,” Mr. Daniels continued. “Much of our value comes from our strong team, which is unique in its abilities having significant experience developing, building and operating renewable energy projects throughout Southeast Asia. As with the case of Gigasol, our experience allows us to design the overall project in a way that will meet AC Energy’s project and company goals.”
Modern Energy is currently working on multiple solar projects across Southeast Asia for AC Energy that will generate over 250MWp of renewable energy.
